Chapter & Home is the kind of bookstore that gives you a reason to stay after you find the book. Located in the old Johnson’s Bakery building on 11th Street, it is a comfortable place for reading, shopping, meeting people, and slowing down for a while.
The shelves mix staff picks with surprises such as Blind Date with a Book. Around them are gifts, drinks, local art, book accessories, and the small details that make browsing feel like an outing instead of an errand.
Book clubs, crochet nights, craft gatherings, vendors, and other events keep the store connected to the community around it. Stop in for the next read. You may find the drink, gift, conversation, or event that keeps you there longer than planned.
